Chauncey Billups

Chosen third overall in the first round of the 1997 NBA draft, Chauncey Billups went on to have a 17-year NBA career with 5 NBA all-star appearances and several MVP awards. He is a world-class athlete that earned the nickname “Mr. Big Shot” on his way to winning an NBA championship in 2004 with the Detroit Pistons. Chauncey is now a regular commentator on ESPN and is an avid climber at his hometown gym in Denver, Colorado.

Parker Spencer

USA Triathlon Level III Certified Coach and the current head coach of USA Triathlon’s Project Podium. Parker has been highlighted as the coach leading “the next generation’’ into the future of triathlons. Climbing’s natural and zero-impact movement is a big part of Parker’s endurance training regiment.

Lance Kendricks

Current tight end in the NFL and collegiate all-American. Lance played college football at Wisconsin, where he was recognized as a consensus All-American. He was then drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft. Lance has a unique combination of strength, speed and agility – making climbing an integral part of his conditioning routine.

CASEY MEARS

American professional stock car racing driver. Casey last competed part-time in the Stadium Super Trucks and Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 27 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Germain Racing. A former winner of the Coca-Cola 600, Mears is the nephew of four-time Indianapolis 500 winner Rick Mears and the son of IndyCar and off-road veteran Roger Mears. He also works as a NASCAR analyst for Fox Sports 1. Casey has an appreciation for speed and efficiency – making climbing the perfect workout for his fast paced and demanding training needs.

Julia Mancuso

World-class skier, fitness guru, role model, philanthropist, and overall free spirit. The retired American World Cup alpine ski racer and Olympic gold medalist is passionate about climbing and decided to join the CLMBR team in early 2020.

Avrum Elmakis

Founder and CEO of CLMBR, the vision of the company came to Avrum in late 2018 and the business was formed in mid-2019. He is passionate about vertical climbing as a natural and primal movement that is self-regulating, no-impact, and highly efficient. He specializes in disruptive innovation and has had multiple successful exits over his career. Prior to founding CLMBR, Avrum was the Founder and CEO of TDBBS, one of the US’s largest sellers of natural dog treats and chews. During his tenure, he earned the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award, amongst many other honors. He still serves on the board of TDBBS, along with Lumena Labs, Boys and Girls Club of Metro Denver, and the James Madison University Entrepreneurship Council. Avrum is also an active member of YPO and resides in Cherry Hills Village, CO with his wife Lauren and their four daughters.

Marco Borges

An exercise physiologist and #1 New York Times Best Selling author, Marco is the founder of 22 Days Nutrition and is passionate about guiding people to develop healthier lifestyles. Marco has spent more than 20 years empowering others with tools for ultimate wellness and is the author of "The Greenprint", "The-22 Day Revolution", "The 22-Day Revolution Cookbook" and "Power Moves". He also opened the first-ever indoor cycling studio in Miami in 1995 and has provided nutrition and fitness counseling to Jay-Z, Beyonce, Ryan Secrest, J-Lo and many more. He lives by a simple mantra: "Every day is a new opportunity to live the life you want!"

chad hurley

American media mogul, co-founder and former CEO of the video-sharing websites YouTube and MixBit.Hurley founded YouTube in 2005with Steve Chen and Jawed Karim. On October 16, 2006, Chen and Hurley sold YouTube to Google Inc. for $1.65 billion. In August 2013,Hurley launched another company called MixBit which does video editing using smartphones. Mixbit now Zeen was acquired by BlueJeans in August 2018. Hurley has made several investments. He is apart-owner of the NBA's Golden State Warriors and the MLS' Los Angeles Football Club. Chad will be assisting CLMBR with content platform development.

Dave Alberga

Along with assisting in the launch of numerous start-up organizations and their growth into large companies, Dave currently serves as a Board Director of GovX, Citadel Defense, and Batch. Dave has independently invested in a number of additional private companies including Peloton, Semantic AI, Rise Festival, and Lennd. Earlier in his career, Dave held a number of positions with Linear Technology, The Boston Consulting Group and Procter & Gamble. He was a senior leader at Ticketmaster and helped build and take ACTIVE Network public while serving as the CEO. He holds an M.B.A. and an M.A. from Stanford University, and a B.S. in General Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Larry Mueller

Current chairman, founder, and CEO of Cuvee; Larry founded the lifestyle platform in 2006. Prior to founding Cuvee, Larry was active in the ultra-luxury real estate market for over 20 years and he was the CEO that took Ariba public, achieving a market capitalization of $40BN. He was a Group Director of IBM Europe and served on the board of directors for both eBay and Paypal. He founded Flight to Luxury, which is a premier fundraising event in Denver. He is a member of Tiger 21 which is headquartered in New York.

Chris Warner

Climber, entrepreneur, film-maker, author, and leadership expert, Chris has led over 200 international mountaineering expeditions, taking teams to the summits of Everest, K2, Kilimanjaro, and Mount Vinson. Chris was the first American to solo an 8,000-meter peak, climbing the 7000 ft tall South Face of Shishapangma in a 34-hour non-stop push. Chris was the founder and CEO of a national chain of indoor climbing gyms which he grew to over 1000 employees before selling to a private equity group. He has extensive teaching experience, with 35 years of leadership teaching to clients such as Google and the NFL, and 16 years at the Wharton School of Business.

Debbie Carosella

A leader in driving and advancing the growth agenda for packaged goods companies, from start-ups to large caps, Debbie was also CEO and an executive team member at multiple companies. Her general management orientation is combined with core expertise in business strategy, marketing, brand development, and innovation. Known as a strategic innovations expert, Debbie has led WhiteWave as SVP for 5 years following her tenure at Conagra. She currently serves on the board of several publicly traded companies.

Dan Gross

Founder and Managing Director of Tasseo Consumer Ecosystem, a $100MM private equity fund that Dan started in 2019 to focus on consumer-packaged goods companies. Prior to founding the fund, Dan was the COO of Prairie Dog Pet Products and helped grow the revenue-rate at 400%. Upon graduating from Stanford Business School, he worked in consulting and private equity for Encore Consumer Capital.

Najeeb Thomas, MD

Dr. Thomas is a native of Louisiana and practices in his home city of New Orleans. He completed a residency in neurosurgery at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. He trained at the world-famous Charity Hospital in New Orleans. He completed special additional training on complex spine and minimally invasive spinal procedures in Memphis, Tennessee, under the direction of Kevin T. Foley, M.D. He has lectured about spinal procedures on four continents and had interactions with hundreds of surgeons around the world. He is recognized as an innovator, and continues to be active in the latest development of minimally invasive spine procedures so that his patients may receive the most advanced spinal care in the world.

Timothy R. Kuklo, MD, JD

Dr. Kuklo brings more than 25 years of medical expertise in his role as a principal spine surgeon and Co-Director at the Denver International Spine Center at Presbyterian / St. Luke's Medical Center. Dr. Kuklo graduated with honors from the United States Military Academy at West Point before graduating with honors from the U.S. Army Ranger School and serving in the 82nd Airborne Division. He is an expert in degenerative spine disorders including complex scoliosis deformities and revision failed spine surgery. His range of spine surgery and research includes a focus on soldiers and athletes, degenerative spinal conditions, spine tumors and infections, and trauma. He also uses comprehensive and cutting edge technologies including artificial disc replacement and minimally invasive spine surgery to help treat his patients which are common practices at the Denver International Spine Center. Dr. Kuklo has lectured extensively on treatment options for various spinal conditions. Dr. Kuklo holds many patents for medical devices and receives frequent requests to speak at medical events around the world.
